Wilhelmineke Hammer, NL
partner and architect at EGM
Since joining EGM architects in 1998, Willemineke Hammer engagement has spanned from the development of vast academic institutions, general hospitals and residential care projects to initiatives where the main focus is ‘residing and living as normally as possible’. As project architect she is responsible for the new Erasmus MC.
Within the total spectrum of Cure & Care she seeks the optimal connection between people, processes and the physical environment. She sees it as her challenge to provide complicated projects, processes and issues with clear design solutions. Collaboration with all the relevant disciplines is central to her approach, from the strategic feasibility phase up to and including the utilization and maintenance phase. The result is urban development, architecture and detailing for people and society.
Willemineke Hammer studied Architecture at Delft University of Technology and Art History at Leiden University.
